Description
A Ball of Sardines is a photograph captured at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California. It provides a glimpse into the beautiful and mysterious underwater world of a kelp forest. Schools of these silver colored fish dart in and out of the sunlight, where they shine and reflect the suns rays. A necessary source of food for many marine animals, their populations are now in decline.
