Description
Lady Hummingbird on Her Nest is a photograph of a proud momma desert hummingbird who built a nest in an ornament on an Arizona backyard patio. She was closely monitored as her two eggs hatched. She dutifully flew off and returned repeatedly to feed her young for many days. But in the end only one hatchling survived.
