Minneapolis Aerial View 2 is a photograph taken from an airplane as it prepared to land in Minneapolis on a late afternoon in June. It shows downtown Minneapolis in the distance and Lake of the Isles and Lake Calhoun in the foreground. The presence of an incoming aircraft in the sky reveals a hint that this city is a major airline hub for travelers.
Whenever I fly in to this city in the summer months I can't help but feel it resembles an Emerald City with its abundant green trees, lakes, rivers and moist air.

Welcome to my art and photography profile pages, with products available for print on demand. Bio history: Bonnie Follett is an artist and photographer living in San Francisco. Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
