This photo painting of the Olympic Club Gym at night (on Sutter St, San Francisco) almost didn't happen. On reviewing my photos, I had my finger poised on the DELETE button for this extremely under-exposed photo, when I decided what the hell maybe I'll play with this one and see what I can do. Not everyone likes dark stuff, but I thought it turned out interesting in a funky, geometric kind of way. FEATURED: Night in Art (6/05/2016)

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. She also spends time in Arizona at her home in the high desert of Mohave County. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time.
