Artist's Description

The Wedding Party is a photo painting made from an image captured at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. This couple's wedding guests had mostly dispersed, but their photographer was snapping on.

Somehow I felt it this moment was an interesting reflection of how this exhibit, built for the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition, is still used as a favorite local San Francisco venue for weddings and/or wedding photography. Couple's seem to love the classical backdrop to remember their special wedding days.
