Water Lilies in the Pond is a photograph taken at the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco. It shows two lilies, one purple and one lemon yellow in color, sharing life in the Conservatory pond, surrounded by bright green lily pads. They are set off dramatically by a dark background.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. She also spends time in Arizona at her home in the high desert of Mohave County. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA...
