I decreased my exposure to capture the dramatic effects of the sun surrounded by clouds and fog and got this amazing capture. The dark tip in the foreground gives a sense of scale - it is tip of the Seal Rock on Ocean Beach San Francisco.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
