Edge of Lake Mead is a photograph taken in Mohave County Arizona looking out on a view of this man-made lake that also travels into the state of Nevada. The light edges of the rock marking the shoreline reveals the level of the lake water after many years of drought.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
