Artist's Description
Fat Albert Flying Over Bay is a photograph captured at the 2021 Fleet Week Airshow in San Francisco.
The Blue Angels use a United States Marine Corps Lockheed C-130J Super Hercules, nicknamed "Fat Albert" for their logistics. The aircraft carries spare parts and equipment, and also transports support personnel between shows. The new transport jet was obtained from England in 2020.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
