Firework Abstracts 5 is an impressionist photo painting created from some photos captured at the New Years Eve celebration in San Francisco, a few minutes after the stroke of midnight. I snapped away at the beautiful display of explosions, sparks, smoke, blooms and colors of the fireworks. Then I chose a few and simplified the details by use of digital filters to create some slightly abstract impressions. Mostly I was just having some fun working with the colors and sparks.
This one shows what I see as a multicolor sparkly caterpillar streaking through the night sky.

Welcome to my art and photography profile pages, with products available for print on demand. Bio history: Bonnie Follett is an artist and photographer living in San Francisco. Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
