Artist's Description

Lone Mountain View is a photograph in late afternoon looking towards the Lone Mountain campus of the University of San Francisco. In the 1800's this hill was the location of a cemetery. After the graves were removed to Colma outside the city, it then was the site of a Women's College, and now is part of USF. In this view, I liked the contrast of architecture between the warm tile roofs of the campus and the multi-colored street houses below.

Welcome to my art and photography profile pages, with products available for print on demand. Bio history: Bonnie Follett is an artist and photographer living in San Francisco. Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
