Lovely Nympaea is a photograph of a lovely water lily found in the pond at the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, This variety is often called an Egyptian Lotus or Egyptian water lily.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
