Old Pier Pillars 2 is one of two photographs taken of some relics, stumps of an old pier, along San Francisco's Embarcadero waterfront. There has been alot of development along the waterfront in the past several years, but there is something reassuring in seeing a little of the past remain.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
