Rising Moon Under the Bay Bridge is a photograph captured from Pier 14 in San Francisco on an unusually warm, calm and mild March night. The moon was a day or 2 past full, entering its waning gibbous phase. As a city dweller, the waterfront of San Francisco is one of the best places to go for a walk and enjoy spacious views and breathe in fresh sea air.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
