Soul in Chains at Desert Lodge captures the sad mystery of the remnants of the old Desert Lodge Motel, locked away behind a chain link fence on Route 66 in Kingman Arizona.
The Desert Lodge was built in the 1940's, fell into disrepair, a demolition in the interest of renovation was started in Spring of 2015 according to the local newspaper.

Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study "Draw Me" school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking. Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography...
